Job Title: Construction Assistant 

Purpose: 

The Construction Assistant will assist Construction Managers by maintaining clean and organized job sites. The Construction Assistant will also perform other construction related tasks.
 
Previous Construction Assistants have been promoted within the company over the years and now manage the construction of multi-million-dollar homes or manage large real estate development projects.

Expectations:

Character - BDR hires first and foremost based on character. 

Responsibilities: 

1. Job site clean up 
2. Job site protection, i.e. locking up homes and covering floors, tile, cabinets, etc. 
3. Install mailboxes 
4. Install job site signs 
5. Install silt fence and snow fence 
6. Dig and install drainage stone & tile 
7. Build mechanical room shelves 
9. Manage “To Do” lists  

Qualifications: 

1. Ability to perform manual labor, i.e. sweeping job sites and picking up construction debris 
2. Construction related experience a plus
4. Good written and verbal communication skills 
5. Strong interpersonal skills 
6. Good organization skills and attention to detail 
7. Must have reliable transportation. 
8. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

10 - 20 hours a week, flexible schedule

Starting rate is $12 per hour
